Main Room
Putnam 235
Commonly referred to as “the @Lab,” this is where the majority of time is spent by lab patrons. Our main room is oriented to be a serine spot where nine people may work simultaneously on large 30″ monitors, and still have room for many personal or project items. We believe that an open, relaxing space helps to settle in patrons, and facilitates the creative process. To this end, we also house a common meeting table for planned and spontaneous interdisciplinary meetings; we often find patrons openly communicating and collaborating by sharing ideas and experiences without feeling boxed in, isolated, nor constrained, as is often found in traditional arrangements.
